The 2 yearly meetings of the Directors of Schools of Political studies provide opportunities for them to exchange on recent and possible future developments with regard to the Network of Schools and to consider past and forthcoming events from each School’s perspective.

The 2017 Spring meeting, which was opened by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Slovenia, Mr Milan BRGLEZ, also provided the Directors with an opportunity to discuss on the Schools’ participation in the 5th World Forum for Democracy, which was dedicated to 'Democracy and equality - does education matter?’  They also started preparing their participation in the forthcoming World Forum for Democracy (Strasbourg, 8-10 November 2017), which will be focussed on the role of political parties and media in the context of rising populism.
