Meeting of 500 leading international experts to tackle money laundering issues [14/02/2007]
From 21 to 23 February the Council of Europe will be hosting the first joint meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures (MONEYVAL). With the aim of strengthening international co-operation in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, the approximately 500 participants will study the FATF's mutual evaluation report on Turkey, MONEYVAL's third-round mutual evaluation report on Georgia and a progress report submitted by Cyprus.

Réunion de 500 experts mondiaux de la lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux [14/02/2007]
Le Conseil de l’Europe accueille du 21 au 23 février la première réunion conjointe du Groupe d’Action financière (GAFI) et du Comité d’experts du Conseil de l’Europe sur l’évaluation de l’efficacité des mesures anti-blanchiment (MONEYVAL). Réunis pour renforcer la coopération internationale dans la lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux et le financement du terrorisme, les quelque 500 participants examineront le rapport d’évaluation mutuelle du GAFI sur la Turquie, le 3ème rapport d’évaluation mutuelle de MONEYVAL sur la Géorgie et le rapport de progrès soumis par Chypre.
