At its Human Rights meeting from 3 to 5 December, the Committee of Ministers published its Indicative work programme for 2025. This work programme was published for the first time for the year 2024 and its publication is a novelty in the procedure and working methods for the Committee of Ministers’ Human Rights meetings. Although it is indicative only and subject to possible future amendments throughout the year, its publication aims at increasing the efficiency and transparency of the supervision of the execution of the European Court’s judgments and decisions.
At its ordinary meeting on 29 November 2023, the Committee of Ministers had laid the basis for this by deciding to make public the indicative annual planning document approved at its December Human Rights meetings (CM/Del/Dec(2023)1482/4.5).
For ease of reference, the Department of Execution has published a single consolidated indicative work programme for 2025, which in addition includes all the cases added by decisions of the Committee of Ministers taken during the December Human Rights meeting and which will be updated throughout the year after each Human Rights meeting.
