Back Coup attempt in Turkey condemned

I firmly condemn the coup attempt in Turkey and express my support to the democratically elected authorities. I call for the resumption of the normal functioning of public institutions and reaffirm the Council of Europe’s availability to continue to assist Turkey on the basis of the principles of democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
