Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has met President of Iceland Guðni Th. Jóhannesson. The meeting focused on the Reykjavik agenda follow-up, notably in the areas of non-discrimination, gender equality, the environment, and artificial intelligence. The 75th anniversary initiatives and the overall support to Ukraine have also been highlighted.
Moreover, Marija Pejčinović Burić had an exchange of views with the Minister of Social Affairs, Labour Market and Nordic Co-operation of Iceland, Guðmundur Ingi Guðbrandsson. Social rights, gender equality, the rights of LGBTI persons, and the environment were among the topics discussed.
