The instrument of ratification, deposited by Alex Chalk, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice of the United Kingdom, of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS Nº 218), also known as the Saint-Denis Convention, has been registered by the Council of Europe’s Treaty office.
The UK is the 28th State to ratify the Saint-Denis Convention, which will enter into force in respect of the UK on 1 December 2023.
