Aude Mary is an anthropologist specialised in Migration and intercultural relations. She is a French national (and Canadian since 2012) and has developed her expertise over 14 years in Quebec, in Montreal, contributing through her successive functions to strengthening the social and professional integration of vulnerable people, especially immigrants of different migration statuses.
She worked for three years at the Bureau d'intégration des nouveaux arrivants à Montréal (BINAM) of the city of Montreal, where she was in charge of matters concerning precarious and migrants with irregular status (Déclaration Montréal, Ville sanctuaire). During this time, she responded to the municipal administration's resolution to adopt concrete measures to better serve and integrate this population by developing and implementing innovative and adapted programs and policies, in collaboration with the city's internal and external actors. These measures included the adoption by City Council of the Fearless Access to Municipal Services Policy (June 2019) and the implementation of the Identity and Residence Attestation Card for all Montrealers.
Now living in Switzerland, she works at the Cantonal Office for the Integration of Foreigners and the Prevention of Racism (BCI) of the Canton of Vaud.
