We have chosen to spotlight 75 women, past and present, who have influenced the work of the Council of Europe, to highlight the remarkable work of many, often unknown, women in the field of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law throughout the Council of Europe’s history and current work.
We also produced 16 videos in which we asked women who have worked for or with the Council of Europe to tell us about their best or most memorable moments with the institution.
