- The Abbey of Saint-Maurice is a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1171. Strongly damaged during the Second World War, it was acquired by the Conservatoire du littoral in 1991. Today, the Municipality of Clohars-Carnoët and the National Forestry Office (Office National des Forêts) ensure the promotion of the site (www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/205/saint-maurice).
