Beschreibung: The Chemnitz Industrial Museum hosts an extensive collection of Saxon industrial history. It is located in the former foundry of Hermann and Alfred Escher AG.
The Knappenrode Energy Factory is a museum is devoted to lignite mining. It is located in the former perfectly preserved briquette factory of Knappenrode.
The former Pfau Brothers Textile Factory hosts a museum on Saxon textile industry. The Museum documents the whole former production cycle of cloths.
The Saxon Museum of Industry Association is a Museum with four locations in Saxony. It is organised as a special purpose association, whose members are the towns of Chemnitz, Crimmitschau, Ehrenfriedersdorf and Hoyerswerda.
