On 22 November, the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme was presented at the Cycle of High Studies on Culture of the French Ministry of Culture (Cycle des Hautes Études de la Culture - CHEC) in the premises of the Council of Europe (Palais de l’Europe, Strasbourg).
Mr Stefano DOMINIONI, Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement (EPA) on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and Director of European Institute of Cultural Routes, presented the Cultural Routes programme in a panel focusing on the “International and European Cultural Action” along with other representative of Council of Europe’s cultural policy, such as Roberto OLLA, Head of Culture, Nature and Heritage Department and Director of Eurimages, Kathrin MERKLE, Head of Culture and Cultural Heritage Division, and Ivana D’ALESSANDRO, Head of the Intercultural Cities Unit.
The Cycle of High Studies of Culture aims to re-examine the major themes of cultural policies in the light of our changing environment. It is an initiative conceived by the Ministry of Culture of France for agents with high potential of supervision on public functions and their establishments, executive cultural stakeholders and advisors. The training aimed to provide a better strategic vision on cultural policies in order to share and compare viewpoints and experiences, and increase collaborative capacities and networking of partners.
