Training Opportunity for Roma and Travellers Organisations

 

The European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC) calls for the participation of civil society organisations in a mentoring scheme focusing on the Council of Europe standards and mechanisms for promoting Roma and Travellers rights. Organisations interested in the consultation mechanism of the Council of Europe, Dialogue meeting with Roma and Traveller civil society organisations are strongly encouraged to apply.

For the second consecutive year, the Council of Europe is supporting the capacity building of Roma and Travellers' civil society organisations to engage with Council of Europe mechanisms.

With support from the Council of Europe, the European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC) calls for the participation of CSOs in a mentoring scheme focusing on the use of Council of Europe standards and mechanisms, aiming to empower Roma and Traveller communities to navigate the complex landscape of rights and legal protection.

Roma and Traveller supporting civil society organisations are encouraged to apply. The selected organisations will benefit from online training sessions, bilateral coaching, support for effectively using Council of Europe standards and mechanisms, drafting briefings to be prepared and discussed during the 18th Meeting of the Council of Europe Dialogue with Roma and Traveller civil society, which will take place in Strasbourg later this year. The 18th Dialogue meeting will focus on Roma and Traveller-related findings and recommendations of the Council of Europe monitoring bodies.
