Purpose: The project aims to create sustainability through urban farming and distributing the harvest of urban farming to restaurants, and to integrate newly arrived refugees by involving them in this project to enable them to develop business ideas for urban farming and enhance their social mobility.  

Stimulus/Rationale: The driver of the Bergen city council for this initiative is both to enhance urban farming and to include newly arrived refugees in this process as part of their integration to Norwegian society.

Process: The city council has been applying for funding to the activities and equipment of resources connected to urban farming and for newly arrived refugees.   

Impact:  The expected impact is to include refugees in society and business.
