On 31 October 2024, stakeholders from across Finland met in Helsinki to review the draft “Blueprint for Multi-Level Governance of Inclusive Integration and Good Relations in Finland”.
The workshop brought together 17 representatives from local, regional, and national authorities, as well as civil society organisations, to help shape a multilevel and multi-stakeholder approach to migrant integration in Finland.
The draft blueprint is part of the EU / CoE Joint Project “Building an Inclusive Integration Approach in Finland”, and it draws on international models and Finland’s existing practices to suggest ways of working together more effectively, especially as Finland prepares for changes with the new Integration Act and the introduction of regional well-being service counties.
Feedback from the workshop will be used to refine the blueprint, with a final version expected by the end of the year.
