The Italian university network against gender violence UniRe, in cooperation with the University Milano-Bicocca and OCEAN held a pan-European conference on the role of academia in the implementation of the Istanbul Convention.
From 27-28 October 2023, around 100 speakers from 17 Council of Europe member states presented papers on a large variety of topics ranging from country case studies to the building of academic networks.
The conference was the largest organised in the framework of OCEAN to date, followed by numerous participants on site and ca. 7000 viewers online.
