The Council of Europe has the intention to organize the third edition of the workshop entitled "Death is not Justice – youth advocacy and awareness-raising for the abolition of the death penalty" from 3 to 6 June 2025 in Strasbourg. It aims to gather young volunteers, students, or active members of civil society, and to train them to advocate for the abolition of death penalty. The goal of this project is also to create a network of young ambassadors to fight for the abolition. This event is part of a broader project aimed at advancing the abolition of the death penalty in Europe and beyond.
The Council of Europe is seeking a partner with experience in human rights and the abolition of the death penalty to organize this workshop. Proposals have to be submitted by 28 February 2025.
