10 October 2022 marks the 20th European and World Day Against the Death Penalty, which is an annual occasion to broaden public awareness on the need for abolition. This year, the Day is dedicated to the link between the capital punishment and ill-treatment, which was first established in the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. On that occasion, the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty, which is a partner from the Council of Europe in promoting the abolition, has prepared some tips on how to start advocating against the death penalty.
