The Project on Strengthening Democratic Culture in Basic Education, which is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Europe in co-operation held its 7th Steering Committee Meeting online on 29 July 2022. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of National Education, Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, Directorate for EU Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Finance and Contracts Unit, and the Council of Europe, as well as the representatives of the public institutions and NGOs.
During the final Steering Committee Meeting of the Project which will end on 2 November 2022, the Committee Members were informed about the completed and upcoming activities of the Project. The Committee Members expressed their comments on the positive results of the activities implemented throughout the Project, and they underlined the importance of the sustainability of the achieved outcomes. Participants also held consultations about the activities planned to be implemented by the end of the Project.
