Teachers selected from 110 pilot schools of the Project continue to receive training by national and international experts. A total of 240 teachers will have been trained in 2 groups during the Second Module of the ToTs, until 3 September 2021.
The teachers who complete the training modules will be certified as “trainers”, who can then train their peers in their own provinces through cascade training activities. Thus, approximately 3000 teachers will receive training on strengthening democratic culture in their schools in the scope of the project.
The First Module of the ToTs had been held in July 2021 and the participant teachers were introduced to the competences for democratic culture (CDC) and the education support materials developed by the project. The Second Module, which will continue until 3 September 2021 aims to equip teachers with skills on adult education that they will need when they are delivering the cascade training in their provinces.
