Second round of the working group meetings for the development of the training modules were held in online and hybrid formats with the participation of the Council of Europe consultants and judges from the selected courts, the Constitutional Court, the Council of State, the Regional Administrative and Tax Courts, the Council of Judges and Prosecutors, the Ministry of Justice, and court staff.
The meetings held were, respectively:
Module 1: Legal Reasoning and Legal Drafting on 21 September 2021
Module 2: Administrative Judiciary Case Law and Judgments of the Constitutional Court on 23 September 2021
Module 3: Fair Trial and Reasonable Time on 22 September 2021
Module 4: Case and Time Management for the Court Staff on28 September 2021
The meetings hosted presentations by authors of modules Prof Sibel İnceoğlu, Prof Bahtiyar Akyılmaz, Prof Burak Gemalmaz, Assoc. Prof Tolga Şirin, Prof Serkan Çınarlı, Dr Erkan Duymaz, Dr Yusuf Sertaç Serter, Dr Serkan Yolcu, Mr Uğur Cem Türker, Dr Fatma Betül Damar Çıtak and training, methodology and assessment experts Prof Cennet Engin Demir, Prof Hasan Atak, followed by the feedback received from the working groups on the training materials, for their finalisation thereof.
During the meetings, opinions of the working groups members on the sessions were collected, as well as the pre-test/post-test individual evaluation forms.
Working group members shared their perspectives on the implementation of the schedule of the pilot trainings, where trainings and materials will be tested, the training of trainers which are to follow and, finally, the cascade training activities, where training will be disseminated.
