On 13 March 2025, Kocaeli University hosted a lecture on individual application before the Turkish Constitutional Court. The session was led by a Constitutional Court Rapporteur and a faculty member delivered the session, who examined the impact of individual applications on shaping constitutional jurisprudence and emphasised the importance of ensuring the execution of Constitutional Court judgments.
The event gathered 194 participants, creating a dynamic platform for interactive discussions. Students engaged actively, posing thought-provoking questions and sharing perspectives. Feedback from participants indicated that the lectures were highly enriching, contributing to a deeper academic understanding of constitutional justice and fundamental rights.
The Joint Programme on “Supporting the Effective Implementation of Turkish Constitutional Court Judgments in the Field of Fundamental Rights” is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe. The Turkish Constitutional Court is the end beneficiary of the Project.
