The Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings was opened for signature by Member States at the Summit of Heads of State and Government in Warsaw on 16 May 2005.

The Convention, adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 3 May, was signed on the same day by 14 States:
Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Iceland, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Sweden.
