Self-identity is one of the key notions in the conceptual make-up of the Autobiography of Intercultural Encounters (AIE). It is addressed as early as the initial section, entitled Who I am, in which users are asked to define themselves. In this activity you work with the AIE for the first time in this course and engage with the rationale of its first section. You are invited to fill in the Who I am section for yourself, compare your definition of yourself with those of others and consider the multiple meanings people associate with self and identity.
