Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats

The complaint was submitted in 2020 by BSPB – the Bulgarian Society for the protection of birds on a draft amendment and supplement of the Hunting and Game Protection Law in Bulgaria. According to the complainant, the amendment would include the legalization of the use of poison baits, narcotics and explosives, traps, snares and other illegal and non-selective methods and means of hunting in nature.
