 The complaint was submitted by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010 concerning the Vjetrenica in thePopovo polje karste area, which is home for 101 troglobiontic organisms of which 14 endemic species. According to the complainant, the cave is negatively affected through the development of tourism activities and other activities such as the extraction of water from the system and agricultural chemicals.
