The complaint was submitted by the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Centre in 2011 denouncing a possible breach of the Convention with regards to the presumed illegal killing of Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops trunncatus) by poachers, as well as the illegal taking of this species by several dolphinaria.
