On 6 June, the list of the Emerald Network sites proposed by Andorra for the very first time benefited from an evaluation at biogeographical level. The evaluation aimed to measure the capacity of the list of sites to ensure the long-term conservation of the species and habitats protected by the Resolutions No. 6 (1998) and No. 4 (1996) of the Bern Convention occurring in Andorra.
The meeting gathered representatives of Andorran authorities, NGOs, independent experts, evaluators and be chaired by the Secretariat of the Bern Convention.
