The CCJE President, Judge Leonie Reynolds (Ireland), took part in the 66^th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Judges (IAJ) which was organised on 18-23 October 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Within the framework of this global event, the CCJE President participated in the session of the European Association of Judges (EAJ) on 18 October 2024 and the International Conference entitled “Artificial Intelligence: Its Impact on Judicial Activities” on 20 October 2024. Judge Reynolds highlighted the work, Opinions and achievements of the CCJE, including its recently adopted Opinion No. 26 (2023) entitled "Moving forward: the use of assistive technology in the judiciary” and focused on the CCJE position as regards the use of artificial intelligence in the work of judges.

The CCJE President also took part, on 15 January 2025, in a webinar organised by the European Law Institute (ELI) as part of “The foundations of Judicial Independence Series”. It was the first webinar in this series. Judge Reynolds delivered a presentation showcasing CCJE Opinions and standards.
