The Council of Europe, through its Committee of Experts on the rights and best interests of the child in the context of parental separation and in care proceedings (CJ/ENF-ISE) is looking for consultants, who can support the work of the Committee in developing guidelines or other policy instruments or practical tools on the protection of the best interests of the child and his/her rights in situations of parental separation.

CJ/ENF-ISE, under the supervision of the European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ) and the Steering Committee for the Rights of the Child (CDENF), is currently carrying out this activity within the 2020-2021 biennium, aimed at developing guidelines or other policy instruments or practical tools on the protection of the best interests of the child and his/her rights in situations of separation of parents to give guidance to member States and other stakeholders in this area, in line with international and European standards and good practices.
