The Council of Europe, in cooperation with CESCI-Balkans (Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives), is organising a Leadership Academy Programme for Cross-Border Cooperation for the bordering local authorities of Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia.

The online presentation of the training programme takes place on Monday, 5 October, with the participation of Claudia Luciani, Council of Europe Director of Human Dignity, Equality and Governance, representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, associations of local authorities, and mayors from both countries.

The Leadership for Cross-Border Cooperation is a Council of Europe training tool allowing local authorities to develop meaningful, long-term and sustainable cooperation between their communities based on European standards and best practice.
