The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) of the Council of Europe is organising this year the 13th edition of the Crystal Scales of Justice Prize, created 20 years ago.
The aim of this Prize is to identify and highlight innovative practices to improve efficiency and quality of the functioning of justice, judicial procedures or the organisation of courts, particularly for the users of justice. These are recently implemented practices that are easily applicable to other countries or institutions and whose effectiveness is measurable. If you have initiated or are implementing a project of this kind, take part in this competition, which could give your action international visibility.
The 2025 competition is open to courts, Bars Associations, judicial professionals, non-governmental organisations or entities responsible for justice affairs in one of the Member States of the Council of Europe or of an Observer State to the CEPEJ*.
Applications must meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the Rules of the Prize and must be sent to the CEPEJ by email, with subject “Cristal Scales of Justice Prize”, to cepej@coe.int, by 2 May 2025 at latest.
