The CEPEJ is organising the 18th meeting of its network of national correspondents on 16 October in Strasbourg. This Network is responsible for collecting the data needed to prepare the Evaluation Report on European judicial systems. The 2024 edition of this Report, published on this occasion, will be presented by Jaša Vrabec, President of the CEPEJ-GT-EVAL and Francesco Depasquale, President of the CEPEJ.
During the day, workshops will be organised for the national correspondents on various topics, such as their specific tasks and their role between their national administration and the CEPEJ Secretariat, the use of the CEPEJ-STAT database, the specificities of certain questions, particularly those relating to information and communication technologies, and the regional data collections (Western Balkans, Eastern Partnership countries). Discussions will also be held between the Secretariat and the national correspondents on data quality control, an essential stage which immediately follows the various data collections, and in particular that for the Justice Scoreboard for the European Union.
