European day of justice 2009 - Netherlands

On 21 October 2009 at the University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht will be organised a meeting with 220 students from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands (Hasselt, Aachen, Maastricht) with simultaneous translation. In the morning judges from the three countries play their case, after a discussion with the judges will take place.
In the afternoon judicial officers from the three countries tell about their work and again discussion with the students.
The purpose is to bring students from the three countries together, show them civil law and its effects, and let them exchange ideas.
On 10 December 2009 at the University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg will be organised a meeting with students from Belgium and the Netherlands (Antwerp, Tilburg). In the morning judges from the two countries play their case, after which a discussion with the judges will take place.
In the afternoon lawyers (advocates) from the two countries tell about their work and again discussion with the students.
The purpose is to bring students from the three countries together, show them civil law and its effects, and let them exchange ideas.
