On 25 June 2021 from 12 until 2 pm Georgian time (10 am to 12 Strasbourg/French time), the CEPEJ will organise an online seminar to present the analysis of existing data and statistical reporting processes to demonstrate how CEPEJ methods can be applied with the aim to guide and support policy and managerial capacity required for the creation of statistics module in Georgian courts, .
This seminar will be followed by around 20 participants composed of court personnel in charge of statistics, representatives of the Management Department of the High Council of Justice of Georgia and by the Supreme Court judge Nino Bakakuri (CEPEJ member for Georgia).
The experts will present their report and its recommendations about judicial data management in Georgia and suggest a model of analysed court data management system. The seminar will be closed by a discussion between the participants and the experts.
The activity will be organised in the framework of the Project “Enhancing the accountability and the efficiency of the judicial system and the professionalism of lawyers” funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
