The first part of the conference will present the notaries’ experiences during the pandemic under different circumstances in the various Member States and explore new digital tools such as video-conferencing, access to and management of eIDs, and highly secured digital storage systems. This part will conclude with the presentation of a prototype developed by Bundesnotarkammer for the use of blockchain technology in the notarial work environment. The second part of the conference will give representatives of the European notariats the opportunity to present their national digitalisation projects, thus providing incentives for participants from other Member States. The closing panel of the conference will bring together representatives from politics, the legal-tech scene and the notariat.
