A tool on the timeframes of various steps in civil proceedings on the agenda of an ad hoc meeting of the CEPEJ pilot courts

The CEPEJ pilot courts meet online on May 4, 2022 for an exchange of views on a possible new tool to analyse timeframes of various steps in civil proceedings and to agree on the follow-up to be given to this discussion. As a first step, the CEPEJ Working Group on judicial timeframes (CEPEJ-SATURN) could collect data on the different steps in civil proceedings and the reasons for delays. To this end, a questionnaire has been prepared on the detection of delays in civil proceedings, which is discussed during this meeting.

The network of pilot courts of the CEPEJ is a place of information, reflection and experimentation of tools and practices of court management. It is mainly composed of court presidents, judges, prosecutors and other professionals working in the courts.
