Why it is not a paper house" / “Perchè non sia una casa di carta”

Teatro Ghione in Rome and live streaming
Event Information

On 25 October from 4 p.m. onwards, the National Council of Notaries and the Consumer Associations will present - on the occasion of the European Day of Civil Justice - the event "Why it is not a paper house" in live streaming from Teatro Ghione in Rome. During the afternoon, six updated guides dedicated to the world of housing (Purchase under construction, Preliminary guarantee, Price-value, Auctions, Certified purchase, Informed mortgage) will be launched and citizens will have the opportunity to interact and ask their questions via chat directly to the professionals present in the theatre.

The meeting will also be an opportunity to celebrate 15 years of cooperation between the Notariat and 14 Consumer Associations, which gave rise to the series of "Guides for citizens", 15 Vademecums that can be downloaded from the website explaining, in simple language and accessible to all, the essential information on buying a house, a mortgage and managing assets.

The afternoon of 25 October will be interactive. It will be divided into three parts - each of which will be dedicated to the presentation of two guides - during which not only will citizens be able to choose which workshop to attend by asking their questions through the dedicated chat, but they will also be able to take part in a series of questionnaires designed specifically to dispel false myths or confirm correct intuitions on the subject that has always been closest to the hearts of Italians: the home.

The event is organised in collaboration with TEDxAscoliPiceno, TEDxNapoli, TEDxPescara and TEDxTorino, which have produced 5 Talk Studios on the topic of home, 4 of which are already available on the youtube channel TEDxTalk http://tiny.cc/sqxjuz, which recall the topics covered in the series "Guides for the citizen", produced by the Notariat and Consumer Associations. The fifth talk, which has never been shown before, will be interpreted by an exceptional speaker, the writer Maurizio De Giovanni, and will be screened live on 25 October at the opening of the proceedings.

Conference "Paths of justice: how to reach the Tribunal?"

Tribunal of Pisa (Italy)
Event Information

On 26 October 2021, to celebrate the European Day of Justice, a conference entitled: "Paths of justice: how to reach the Tribunal?" will be held at the Tribunal of Pisa.
As part of a general convention between the University of Pisa and the Tribunal, an agreement has been concluded with the Faculties of lnformatics and of Philology, Literature and Linguistics, which have designed and run the Humanities lnformatics {lnformatica Umanistica} course. The aim is to carry out internships at the Tribunal that give students the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in areas such as: communication via the Tribunal's website, archive and database management, case law research, governance.
The first of these internships focused on the construction of a page on the website dedicated to 'access' to the court in its material sense, trying to answer the user's question: how do I reach the courthouse? The idea came about after noting the presence of negative comments on search engines complaining about the difficulty of getting to the court, which is located within a restricted traffic zone.
The result is an intuitive, easily navigable interactive page, linked to navigable maps, the sites of urban transport services, taxi services, and municipal services for obtaining permits to access the blue zone for the disabled. ln creating the page, the trainee made transparent choices and used open source soft-ware to create a complete, easily accessible and inexpensive information system.
The page includes ail the information needed to reach the Court, UNEP (Bailiffs Office}, the Justice of the Peace Offices in Pisa, Pontedera, San Miniato and Volterra.
Thanks to the collaboration with the manager of the court's website, the page has become an integral part of it and will be launched on the occasion of the European Day of Justice at a conference where the work done will be illustrated and the basis for future innovative collaborations will be laid.
lt is a small but useful stone in the construction of a justice system open to users and the public, easily accessible, transparent.
