The awareness raising campaign for Free Legal Aid was launched on 26 October 2020 on the occasion of the European Day of Justice (celebrated each year around 25 October). A high-level video conference was organized in co-operation with the Ministry of Justice to launch an awareness raising campaign promoting the free legal aid right to the citizens of North Macedonia. Mr Bojan Maricic - Minister of Justice of North Macedonia, Mr. Christophe Poirel - Director of Human Rights Directorate at the Council of Europe Mr. Nicola Bеrtolini - Head of the Cooperation - Delegation of the European Union in Skopje, Ms Jelena Ristikj – Vice President of the Bar Association and several other speakers addressed the public and promoted the Law on free legal aid. During the online event which was live streamed via web platforms and the Free Legal Aid (FLA) FB page Бесплатна правна помош, the citizens had the opportunity to get acquainted with the new visual identity and the new FLA website: http://www.pravnapomos.mk/ for the Ministry of Justice prepared with the support of the project, which will function as a resource platform for finding important and updated information on free legal aid services in North Macedonia.
