The CEPEJ, in partnership with the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centers (JPTCs) of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, is organising a training session on November 28–29, 2024 titled “Using CEPEJ Methodologies and Tools to Improve Court Efficiency and Managerial Capacities”.
This training will gather approximately 50 participants, including court presidents, court clerks, judges, and representatives of court administration, ensuring diverse perspectives and expertise during the sessions.
Over two days, the training will address topics such as backlog reduction of court cases, judicial time management, and court performance monitoring, suggesting practical strategies to improve court efficiency. The discussions will also focus on improving the quality of justice, with topics addressing integration of users into the judicial process and enhancing communication between courts, the media, and the public.
This activity was organised by the BiHSEJ action “Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHSEJ)” in the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe joint programme Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye (Horizontal Facility III), co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
