Description: Adopted in 2017, the Protocol applies to all children whose well-being is endangered, or children who are at direct peril or life-threatening danger, children who are (or under suspicion) victims of abuse and neglect, and children who are considered to be at risk of possible abuse and neglect. The main objectives of the Protocol are: to improve the well-being of children by preventing abuse and neglect; ensuring that all actions and decisions taken are timely passed and in the best interests of the child and the long-term impact on the reduction of child abuse and neglect.
