Strengthened legal, policy and institutional framework
The first project component supports the legal review process in Slovenia to establish a solid legal basis for the reform and to put in place interagency, monitoring and evaluation procedures, policies and mechanisms required for the sound and sustainable operation of Barnahus in Slovenia.

The Law was adopted unanimously by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia in March 2021 and two by-laws to complement it have been developed in collaboration with the Slovenian government.
