The State Automated Information System “Elections” (SAISE) run by the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova (CEC) has been revamped through an updating of the Observers module. This module will allow accredited international and local observers to submit online electoral-related observations and sources of evidence throughout the electoral period. Previously, this function was valid only during the E-day. To use the module, observers need to introduce their accreditation details here.

New functionalities were added to the module for the district electoral council chairpersons. In addition they will be able to accreditate the observers within their constituences/districts and handle the obsevers’ notifications. Over 40 (fourty) electoral officials benefitied from an explanatory workshop on how to use the updated module ahead of general local elections scheduled for 5 November 2023 in the Republic of Moldova. The workshop was facilitated by the module developer – expert  of the Council of Europe.
