The new Project builds upon the results of the previous cooperation and aims to further improving the access to justice in the Republic of Moldova through strengthened efficiency and quality of courts. In particular, the Project will support a modernised court management in order to tackle backlog, improve the working conditions of judges, the transparency and communication of the judiciary, and the quality of services for court users. A special attention will be paid to the deployment of the JUSTAT Automated Informational System - the IT tool similar to the CEPEJ-STAT database to collect and analyse judicial statistics.
This activity has been organised within the framework of the Project ”Support to further modernisation of court management in the Republic of Moldova”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance III (2023-2027).
