On 11-12 October 2023 the representatives of the State Labor Inspectorate from all regions of Moldova benefitted from a two-day training on integrity aspects as part of the Council of Europe project "Enhancing employment rights in the Republic of Moldova”.

The purpose of the training was to equip the labour inspectors with essential knowledge and tools to ensure integrity and ethical conduct in their work, in accordance with the European standards and practices.

The training included practical exercises and different scenarios providing a hands-on experience on how to:

• Fortify ethical conduct in the workplace;

• Gain insights into best practices for integrity management;

• Build a culture of trust and transparency;

• Safeguard the rights of workers with integrity as a guiding principle.

Improved knowledge and skills will allow the labour inspectors to carry out their work more effectively, ensuring integrity remains a central tenet in their pursuit of fair labour practices and worker’s safety in Moldova.
