Members of the Supreme Court of Justice undertook a training to strengthen their communication skills. With the help of the communication consultant Natalia Efros-Bujor, the participants learned the best ways to communicate with press, civil society representatives and enhanced their skills in crisis communication. The training was facilitated by the Council of Europe Project on Strengthening the Institutional Capacities of the Supreme Court of Justice.
The participants, including those from the Public Relations Division, took part in interactive discussions and practical assignments on how to effectively convey the integrity, professionalism, and transparency to be reflected in public communication and to the media.
The Project Manager, Milica Djunic, emphasized the crucial role of communication in building public trust in the judiciary, stating that the Project will deliver a series of capacity-building actions to strengthen the Court’s ability to interact with its audience and respond to media crises.
The acting president of the SCJ, Stela Procopciuc, also highlighted the Court’s commitment to modernizing its approach to media relations. She shared the Court’s determination to develop a media strategy that promotes its work and fosters public trust.
This training reflects the ongoing efforts of the Project to enhance the institutional capacities of the SCJ in upholding human rights, transparency, and institutional efficiency.
