The Council of Europe is launching a call for proposals aiming to support inter-municipal cooperation in Armenia. The Council of Europe intends to award a maximum of three (3) grants to consortia (clusters) of two or more municipalities or to joint municipal enterprises created with the purpose of implementing inter-municipal initiatives aimed at improving the quality of local public services delivered to citizens.
The deadline for the submission of applications is on 10 April 2017.
This call for proposals is launched within the Thematic Programme “Strengthening Institutional Frameworks for Local Governance”, implemented by the Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform, Good Governance Department, DG II Democracy and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. The Programme is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe, through the Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF) 2015-2017 for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus.
