At their 1498th meeting on 7 May 2024, the Ministers' Deputies adopted:
- a series of decisions under the item "The Council of Europe and the conflict in Georgia", in the context of the continuous deterioration of the human rights situation in the Georgian regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia;
- Committee of Ministers' Guidelines for public and private sector authorities on preparedness and emergency responses to the immediate aftermath of terrorist attacks [more information …];
- a Recommendation of the Committee of Ministers to member States on combating hate crime [more information …]. They also took note of its Explanatory Memorandum.
On 14 May, the Deputies continued their preparation of the 133rd Session of the Committee of Ministers, which will take place on 16-17 May in Strasbourg.
