At their 1328th meeting, the Ministers' Deputies took a series of decisions concerning the Council of Europe budgets for 2019.
They adopted a resolution on the implementation of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities by Slovenia and two resolutions in the context of the collective complaints procedure of the European Social Charter concerning Croatia and the Czech Republic respectively.
They also took note of the following documents:
- the final report on the implementation of the “Neighbourhood Co-operation Priorities for Kazakhstan 2014-2015 (extended until 2018): co-operation activities on Council of Europe conventions in criminal matters, and invited the Secretariat to continue discussions with the authorities of Kazakhstan on the preparation of a new co-operation document;
- a progress review report on the priorities for co-operation with the Kyrgyz Republic for 2015-2017 (extended until 2019), and instructed the Secretariat to continue the implementation of the co-operation priorities;
- an Evaluation Report on the operations and activities of the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC), and agreed that the Council of Europe's financial contribution for 2018 should be disbursed to ERIAC before the end of the year.
Finally, the Deputies held exchanges of views with:
- Mr Guido Raimondi, President of the European Court of Human Rights, on the progress of the work of the Court;
- Ms Feride Acar, President of the Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO), on the GREVIO’s achievements over the past year and its perspectives for the coming months.
