At their 1370th meeting, on 11 March, the Ministers’ Deputies adopted the following texts:
- guidelines on public ethics, which aim to help Council of Europe member States to establish a comprehensive and effective public ethics framework, in order to promote an ethical culture in public organisations and sustain the confidence and trust of citizens in the public officials and institutions who represent them, take decisions affecting their lives or are responsible for the delivery of public services [more information];
- a declaration on strengthening the rights of the child as the key to a “future-proof” Europe, renewing the Committee of Ministers’ firm commitment to promote, protect and fulfil the rights of the child [more information];
- a resolution on the implementation of pharmaceutical care for the benefit of patients and health services, which aims to improve the medication use process and quality of care across Europe. The resolution defines a framework for promoting and implementing the concept of pharmaceutical care in health systems at national level.
The Deputies also held an exchange of views with Mr Rik Daems, President of the Parliamentary Assembly.
