At their 1469th meeting on 14 June, the Deputies continued their consideration of the follow-up to the 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe and, in this context, heard the views of the President of the European Court of Human Rights, the Commissioner for Human Rights, the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
 
The Deputies held an exchange of views with:

• Mr Marin Mrčela, President of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), and took note of GRECO’s 2022 general activity report
• Ms Elżbieta Franków-Jaśkiewicz, Chair of the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL), and took note of MONEYVAL's annual report for 2022.

They also took note of the abridged report of the 91st meeting of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI).
 
The Deputies adopted resolutions on the renewal of the European Diploma for Protected Areas awarded to the Hautes Fagnes Nature Reserve (Belgium), the Camargue National Reserve (France), the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve (Germany), the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park and the Maremma Regional Park (Italy), the Piatra Craiului National Park and the Retezat National Park (Romania). They decided that Resolution CM/ResDip(2008)1 would not be applicable to the Diplomas awarded to protected areas in the territory of the Russian Federation and Belarus until further notice and invited the Standing Committee of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (T-PVS) to suspend the Emerald Network areas of special conservation interest located on the territory of Belarus and of the Russian Federation until further notice. The Deputies recalled that Belarus remains fully bound by all its obligations as a Contracting Party to the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats, in particular in terms of safeguarding endangered natural habitats.
 
Finally, the Deputies heard a communication by the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly, Despina Chatzivassiliou-Tsovilis, on the preparation of the 3rd part of the 2023 Session (Strasbourg, 19-23 June 2023) and other Assembly activities.
